Uniform Policy and Purchasing

St. Peter Claver School is presently transitioning to new styles and purchasing agents for our uniform. We appreciate your patience, and we hope that you find this information helpful. If in doubt, please call the school office. Thank you!

Saint Peter Claver School has a Campus Store with Blufox, Inc. This company provides each student with the three uniform shirts that are included in the Book and Supply Fee. Additional school uniform items that can be purchased from them, through the school, include pants, shorts, skorts, skirts, and jumpers. Likewise, they also have jackets, sweaters, and book bags for sale. However, only the shirts, skorts, skirts, and jumpers must be purchased through this company. Navy blue pants or shorts and sweaters can be purchased from local stores such as Sears, Penny, Dollar General, etc as desired provided that they are dress pants and shorts with belt loops.

Presently, some students may have skorts, skirts, and jumpers, which they purchased form Buckhead Uniforms, our previous uniform supplier. These items may still be worn, provided that they are the exact style. Thus it is important for all parents to note: The jumpers, skorts, and skirts worn by the girls are only to be of two styles; the style provided by Blufox or the style provided by Buckhead. Other styles are not permissible.

Uniform Requirements Girls Grades K-8:

• Navy blue jumper: (Buckhead style# l94 or Blufox item# 920)
• Maroon plaid jumper: (Buckhead style# 162 color# 43)
• School uniform shirt: (Shirt is worn with the jumper, skirt, shorts, or skort)
• Navy blue dress shorts or pants with belt loops and belt
• Navy skirt: (Buckhead style# l43 or Blufox item# 596)
• Navy skort: (Buckhead style# 580 or Bluxfox item# 580)
• Plaid skirt: (Buckhead style# 134 color# 43)
• White Polo shirt: (Shirt is worn with the jumper, skirt, shorts, or skort)
• Navy or maroon cardigan or v-neck sweater or school sweatshirt
• Solid white, navy, maroon knee or ankle socks or tights (Must come to ankle)

Uniform Requirements Boys Grades K-8:

• Navy blue dress pants or short with belt loops and belt
• School uniform shirt
• Navy cardigan or v-neck sweater or school sweatshirt
• Solid, white, navy, maroon socks (Must come to ankle)

Shoes Requirements Girls & Boys Grades K-8:

• Shoes must be saddles, loafers, leather or low top tennis shoes.
• Shoes must be white, navy, black, brown. If a tennis shoe has stripes, it must be white, navy, black, brown also.
• Tennis shoes may not have lights, or light up in any way.
• Laces on shoes are to be tied at all times.
• Heels on shoes may not be higher than 1 inch.

Additional Uniform Rules:

1. Students from grades K-8 must be in complete uniform at all times, unless a special permission has been given.
2. Students in Pre-School may or may not wear the uniform.
3. Belts with shorts or slacks must be worn. Shirts must be tucked in.
4. Belts and pants or shorts must be worn around the waist at all times. Underwear must never be above the belt even if it is under the shirt.
5. Socks must touch the ankle. A student may never wear low socks that fall inside the shoe and give the appearance of the bare look.
6. Hair styles and cuts are to be conservative, with no patterns, designs, or logos.
7. Boys are not permitted to wear braids.
8. Only plain white t-shirts are to be worn under shirts.
9. Permissible Jewelry: one single neck chain, one ring, one stud earring only, no large than a dime.
10. Facial hair is not to be worn.
11. Make-up and nail polish are not to be worn.
