Admissions Process

Saint Peter Claver School admits students regardless of race, gender or ethnic origin who meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement:

• K3 class applicant must have reached the age of three prior to September 1.
• K4 class applicant must have reached the age of four prior to September 1.
• Kindergarten applicant must have reached the age of five prior to September 1.
• First Grade applicant must have reached the age of six prior to September 1.

Immunization Records:

• K3 through Grade 8 must have Form 3189 Immunization Record.
• Kindergarten through Grade 8 must have Form 3300 Eye, Ear, Dental.
• Grade 6 must have 2nd MMR and chicken pox immunity, indicated in Form 3032 or 3189.
• All children born after January 1, 1992 must have Hepatitis B.

Documents Needed:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Immunization Certificate and Ear, Eye, and Dental Form.
3. Social Security Card.
4. Baptismal Certificate if Catholic.
5. Most recent report card and test scores if student is entering grades 1-8.

Enrollment Procedure:

1. Parents/Guardians secure an appointment with the principal by calling the school office.
2. Testing of the potential student is administered.
3. Principal meets with parents/guardians to review testing results, Saint Peter Claver School philosophy and policies, and placement of child.
4. Parents/guardians complete all necessary paperwork with the school secretary.

Tuition and Fees 2008-2009

• Annual Fees:
  1. Registration Fee: $75.00 per student if paid by March 6, $100.00 if fee is paid after March 6, unless student is a new enrollment
  2. All other fees: $300.00 per student. (Includes books, building fees, parent club fees, some uniform supplies, and some school supplies.)
  Registration Fee must be paid before students are added to class roster.
  All other fees are to be paid by April 3 for returning students, A $25.00 late charge will be added if not paid by April 3.
• Tuition: (Can be paid 10 months or 12 months)
  1. Pre-School:     $4346.00 Catholic    $4546.00 Non-Catholic
  2. Grades K-8:    $2930.00 Catholic    $3175.00 Non-Catholic
