Admissions Process
Saint Peter Claver School admits students regardless of race, gender or ethnic origin who meet the following criteria:
Age Requirement:
- K3 class applicant must have reached the age of three prior to September 1.
- K4 class applicant must have reached the age of four prior to September 1.
- Kindergarten applicant must have reached the age of five prior to September 1.
- First Grade applicant must have reached the age of six prior to September 1.
Immunization Records:
- K3 through Grade 8 must have Form 3189 Immunization Record.
- Kindergarten through Grade 8 must have Form 3300 Eye, Ear, Dental.
- Grade 6 must have 2nd MMR and chicken pox immunity, indicated in Form 3032 or 3189.
- All children born after January 1, 1992 must have Hepatitis B.
Documents Needed:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Certificate and Ear, Eye, and Dental Form.
- Social Security Card.
- Baptismal Certificate if Catholic.
- Most recent report card and test scores if student is entering grades 1-8.
Enrollment Procedure:
- Parents/Guardians secure an appointment with the principal by calling the school office.
- Testing of the potential student is administered.
- Principal meets with parents/guardians to review testing results, Saint Peter Claver School philosophy and policies, and placement of child.
- Parents/guardians complete all necessary paperwork with the school secretary.
